Why does this matter?
Well, think about a time when you were angry, shocked or frustrated. This news was processed by your brain and caused your physiology to go into a state of chaos.
One of the first things to ‘go’ in a situation like this is your breathing. Your breath rate becomes disordered, incoherent and erratic.
This matters because when your breathing is chaotic, the energy the heart generates, also becomes chaotic. As the heart is the body’s main power station, this state of chaos causes an enormous amount of energy to ‘leak’ from your body. This can have significant consequences for your health, wellbeing and performance.
The BREATHE Skill will show you how to take back control of your own physiology so you can learn to control your breathing across a range of different scenarios such as in direct conflict with others.
